What is MBSR? 

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a program designed to teach individuals who are suffering (physical or emotional pain) & who want to take preventative actions to take better care of themselves and live happier lives. 

Our 8-week course meets weekly for 2.5 hours and includes a one-day retreat component. The course is designed to benefit people with varying types and degrees of pain and stress.

Through the continued practice of mindfulness you soon develop self-awareness of your stress and habitual reactions, including thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Program Requirements:
• Attend the Mandatory Orientation the week before class starts
• Program must be paid in full before starting
• Complete pre and post course assessments
• Commit to attending all 8 classes and the Mindfulness Retreat.
